Describes the analog input module
Channel 6
The IC660BBA106 is a Genius I/O Block, which is a current source analog input module. The I/O module has six (6) input points with independently isolated channels. The module accepts 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA input signals and is used to connect various devices such as transmitters, variable frequency drivers (VFDS), dampers, panel meters, data loggers, signal isolators, converters and others.
The IC660BBA106 Block I/O is powered by providing external voltages of 115VAC or 125VDC, nominal values and actual operating ranges of 93-132VAC or 105-145 VDC. It has a resolution of one (1) μA, and users can choose from update rates of 16.6mS to 400mS. It has interchannel isolation rated at 1500V RMS. It has built-in internal diagnostic functions such as underrange, overrange, high alarm, low alarm and open circuit.
The IC660BBA106 needs to operate in a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (+32°C to +140°F), storage temperature of -40°C to +100°C (-40°C to +212°F), humidity of 5% to 95%, non-condensing, storage temperature of +100°C (-40°C to +212°F). Operating vibration is 5-10 Hz0.2 inch (5.08 mm) displacement and 10-200 Hz at 1G.
The IC660BBA106 has an open circuit voltage of 24VDC, a short circuit current of <75 mA, and a loop impedance of up to 1000 ohms (0mA to 20mA) and 800 ohms (20mA to 25mA), as well as normal mode rejection of -45dB at 50 and 60Hz.
The IC660BBA106 has built-in status LED indicators such as Unit OK and I/O enabled. Under normal operation, both LED indicators should remain in a stable ON state. Other LED characteristics may indicate forced, disabled, and non-communicating block I/O modules.
